About me and my practice
I offer counselling grounded in the Person-Centred Approachan approach built on empathy, authenticity and acceptance, where you are in the lead. I believe that healing and change happen in a space where you can truly be yourself, without judgment or pressure.
This way of working speaks to me not only as a counsellor but as a person. It challenges power dynamics, honours individual experience, and trusts that you are the expert in your own life. Im here to walk alongside you, whether youre feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking to understand yourself more deeply.
I have a particular interest in how we navigate identityespecially around masculinity and mixed heritageand how this shapes our internal and external worlds. These are complex, personal experiences, and I offer space to explore them at your own pace.
Experience
As well as having a private practice, Ive worked as a youth counsellor for MAP with 1425-year-olds as part of an NHS contract. Ive also supported clients through charities like Mind and The Norwich Centre and have facilitated mens groups and support groups through various community organisations.
Qualifications
I am trained in Counselling to a Post-Graduate Diploma Level with the Norwich Centre, UK and I am a registered member of the BACP.
Prior to my counselling taining I studied Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester, and have always been drawn to understanding people, cultures, and connection.
Additional Information
My style is gentle but active. I wont tell you what to do or give you quick fixesbut I will listen closely, ask questions, and support you in making sense of your thoughts and emotions. The work we do together is collaborative and at your pace.

Initial Consultation
Before our first session, I offer a free initial phone call so we can get a sense of whether wed work well together. Ill also send you some information with more details about how I work, along with a privacy notice.
In our first session, well explore whats bringing you to counselling, whether Im the right fit for you, and what youd like to focus on. Theres no pressure to commitwe can take things one step at a time.
Fees
My Counselling sessions are £50 a session.
When I Work
I currently have morning and evening sessions available. I can offer flexible hours.
